Jason Calhoun put the #12 Street Stock in Victory Lane at the Dillon Motor Speedway last night. Regina was having some trouble with her shoulder and Jason was called in from home in the mid-afternoon. With no practice he was able to race from his 5th place starting position all the way to the top spot by halfway. A victory at Dillon and a top 10 finish in the Frank Kimmel Street Stock Nationals race at "The Rock" last weekend have given us a fantastic start to the 2012 season. The 12Cars Racing #12 Street Stock joined the more than 100 race cars and tens of thousands of fans that made the trip to Rockingham Speedway this weekend. Jason Calhoun drove to a 10th place finish out of the 35 cars that raced in the Frank Kimmel Street Stock Nationals race that was part of the weekend schedule. We are off to a great start and look forward to a run next weekend in Dillon for the Opening Weekend even.
The 2012 Season is upon us. Our first race will be April 14th at the Rockingham Raceway with the Frank Kimmel Street Stock National Series. Please make plans to come out and watch us race along with the UARA Stars Late Models and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. We are very excited about making another run at The Rock.
